Before your home receives guests, we create a video inventory & roster of all the furnishings, accessories, and kitchen content. The condition and locations of items are captured within the video, which is used by housekeeping and inspection teams prior to a guest check-in and again at guest check-out.
The maintenance of your home is the most important aspect of this business. If the homes we manage are not maintained at a certain level, guests will not return, positive reviews will not post and business will not flourish the way it should. In addition to our routine inspections before and after each guest, we also conduct quarterly health and safety checks where smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are inspected, batteries are changed out, batteries in remotes are replaced.
House Manuals are created for guests that are easy to understand and readily available at the time of check-in. Information on how to operate the entertainment systems, TV, and wi-fi, and other dos and don’ts for the property are also included and are made available to guests in an electronic format that can be easily edited or changed as needed.
SBVR assures protection of your home with security deposits rather than offering damage waivers. Guests are far more cautious when a minimum $1,500 security deposit is at stake rather than a minute $45.00 damage waiver fee. We also don’t care to battle with third party insurance companies when it comes to replacing items for our home owners and risk not receiving the full value for those items.
SBVR offers some of the best technology in the business to protect you and respect your home. Each home will be equipped with sensors that alert us to noise, smoke, glass breaks, and humidity. These new, best of class systems assure your guests are not getting too rowdy and disturbing the neighbors, smoking, leaving windows open or creating water leaks. Guests can be notified in the form of emails or even lights, which illuminate from the sensors giving warning to guests that they are reaching designated limits. These devices also sends a signal to management in the event someone may try to cover up or disable the device.
All homes will also have electronic keyless entry systems that allows us to control access to your home by guests, maintenance and cleaning personnel. SBVR also knows when someone enters and exits the property, and can change access privileges in real-time.
