House is great. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and eating in. Large dining table and bar seating. Private backyard with hot tub. 1/2 block from trails with amazing views and short walk to beach access. Bike or short drive to coffee, smoothies, restaurants, grocery. No one wanted to leave - thank you!

Good, quiet location. We walked to Von's shopping center for breakfast at the Mesa Cafe, very good! It was a 1.9 mile walk. Next day I walked, south, through the wildlife preserve and went down to the beach to watch the surfers. That was a 1.6 mile walk there and back. The house is equipped with bikes, boogie board, and a well equipped kitchen. We will definitely return.

Property nicer in person than in photos. The yard is really great and lot of outdoor space. The beds are comfortable and clean. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. It's walking distance to the beach and there's a great park just behind the house with amazing views.

It was a delightful weekend in this cute home...perfect open kitchen and shared space for gathering and conversing. I had called and asked about an outdoor dining table, especially with covid concerns. When I found out there was not one I loaded up a couple of portable tables, along with extra folding chairs and pillows. It worked out beautifully. The spa was wonderful, the location/neighborhood perfect for us and the dogs. Thank-you!

This house was beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great and we really enjoyed the yard. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Being right next to the Douglas Preserve was a huge bonus. We enjoyed walking there in the evening and watching the sunset! We also liked that downtown was only a short 10 minute drive. We had an amazing time in Santa Barbara.

Great place to stay on the Mesa

Great house on the Mesa near the Douglas Family Preserve and Mesa lane. Our 2 year old loved playing in the back yard and there was ample room for our group. Would definitely stay here again....

The house was lovely and clean. The location was perfect, the Douglas Family Reserve was such a nice park with beautiful views. The Mesa Steps to the beach was just a few blocks away and that was an amazing view as well. Very comfortable place to be.

This little house is in a quiet neighborhood and great location. We especially loved the backyard and the Preserve one minute walk. Perfect if you have a dog. A roomy, well equipped kitchen. About 10 min drive to State St. Professional and responsive management.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mesa Charm. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a long weekend as our family attended my son's graduation from UCSB. House was great and really enjoyed the hot tub and close proximity to the beach. Great location. Everything we needed was provided. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Mesa Charm over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing weekend. The location is perfect for walking to Hendry's Beach. As a family of 4 plus golden retriever, we found access to the beach and restaurants was easy. The house was clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. We would highly recommend Mesa Charm!!

Mesa Charm in Santa Barbara is Fantastic!

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens and 1 pre-teen) stayed at the "Mesa Charm" in Santa Barbara for 10 days in July. We had a fantastic experience! The house was clean and cozy, and was furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and provided the basic "staple goods" for cooking like spices, cooking oil, cleaning products, tin foil, etc. (the things that you spend lots of money to use one or two times before you leave....). This is highly appreciated. The rooms/beds were small but cozy and comfortable, and the living room/kitchen opens up onto a great patio, with a nice hot tub and beautiful garden. A bonus was the local skunk who wandered into the back garden a few nights after dusk to look around.....! The location could not be better - within walking distance of a beautiful stretch of beaches, and just a quick drive into town to enjoy the beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. We biked into town one day, but the hills are killers, so it's not for the faint of heart.....! Our family would strongly recommend this property, and we would certainly rent this one again! Thanks!

Great location close to an off leash dog hiking trail (like 50 feet away) with amazing view of the ocean. House was nicely remodeled and very functional. Jacuzzi worked perfectly. Great backyard for grilling. Also very close to dog beach (walkable). Had all the utensils needed for a great stay. Highly recommended!

Comfortable Home in a nice location

We enjoyed our stay at Mesa Charm. It's in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to the water. We brought our newborn daughter and our toddler, so we stayed in a lot. The backyard is gorgeous. Kitchen is great to cook in. Beds are very comfortable. It was helpful to have the washer & dryer in garage!

Wonderful Stay!

We were referred to the Mesa Charm property by a friend who had stayed prior to our visit who spoke very highly of the house and their enjoyable experience. Planning a long weekend with two kids can be trying, but this home was suited perfectly for our family of 4 and grandma. The home is decorated lovely with a beach house theme with 3 bedrooms, large backyard with great landscaping, a beautiful kitchen for our evening dinners, and great open space inside all situated right next to the coastal trail for walks to watch the sunset. The property was set up with everything we needed away from home and the kids enjoyed using the boogie boards at the beach that the owners left for our use. This was our first stay in Santa Barbara and after our fantastic experience at the Mesa Charm we will be coming back to stay again. If you are looking for a home away from home I would absolutely put this property at the top of the list.
