Mesa Beach Escape

Our stay was fantastic. The easy walk to the beach and access to Ellings park for biking/hiking trails couldn’t have been more ideal for our family. Felt like we were really living the Santa Barbara life!

Wonderful oasis a few steps away from the beach. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub!

Absolutely loved our stay! 5 star location and the hosts are professional and very attentive. We had a couple of pregnant ladies in our girls trip, and we stayed during a little warmer time period in Santa Barbara. The hosts dropped off a couple extra fans for our rooms with no hesitation and were very responsive. Super cute Airbnb and about a 5 minute walk from the beach. The perfect place to make our girls trip fabulous.

Great location and high on beach vibes. Great weather so we took full advantage of outdoor living and enjoyed the sea breeze. House was well stocked with beach gear and towels - we had a wonderful time and glad it was doggie friendly.

We had an excellent stay in Santa Barbara at this home. It was a super easy walk to the beach! 10 minutes is generous and would get you right to the ocean. The beach nearby was beautiful and not overly crowded while being very accessible. Great place to go with family.

We enjoyed our stay here for a girls weekend! The Airbnb was so cute and the backyard was beautiful! It was plenty of space for the 7 of us! Super close walk to a really nice restaurant as well!

We did a girl's weekend here. The house is nice. Backyard is really nice. Walkable to the beach and a restaurant, but 10 minute drive to downtown. We had a hot water issue, but it was managed very quickly.

This was really a wonderful place! The house was perfect, the beds were all really comfortable, and the backyard was really nice! The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The best part was definitely being minutes away (walking) from the beach! There is construction in the house next door, but they don’t start before 8am and they finish by 5 pm so it never disturbed us. We would most definitely stay here again!

The home has lovely decor and in a great quiet location. Convenient to downtown yet far enough away to be in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood which we appreciated. The kitchen has everything you need to make it a home away from home but there's so many terrific places to go. I appreciated the bag of local coffee and wine, nice touch. The property management company was very responsive to issues raised.

We loved the house, yard, and location. The kitchen is well stocked but would add baking sheet. The beds are very comfortable. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The property manager responded quickly when we had an issue w the fridge.

Loved this beach home - super clean and cozy, in such a great, lush neighborhood. Several fantastic trails right off the street! Walking distance to Hendry’s Beach and the Boathouse. Wonderful bedding, beds and coastal decor. The hosts were so responsive and friendly, and everything there was like pushing the ‘easy’ button - so relaxing and fun.

We were so happy when we saw our favorite place became available again! Cannot wait to stay here again. Absolutely perfect location and layout. The yard is wonderful and the outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach is well thought out. Can't recommend this place enough!

Santa Barbara Vacation Rentals did an exceptional job with this property! The interior decoration is tastefully done and shows great attention to detail. Everything in the house was clean and well-maintained - it was clear they take pride in their property. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, like providing multiple propane bottles for the grill - this kind of preparation really made our stay hassle-free. The hot tub was in perfect working condition and was a fantastic amenity to enjoy during our stay. This was the perfect setting for our family vacation. The combination of beautiful decor, cleanliness, and well-maintained amenities made our stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. The hosts' attention to detail and preparation really stood out. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a well-cared-for vacation home in Santa Barbara!

This house is beautiful and is in an outstanding location - close to Arroyo Burro beach, The Boathouse at Hendry's Beach, the Douglas Family Preserve and the Arroyo Burro Open Space. We took multiple walks every day and it was great to have so many walking options. The house is very tastefully decorated. We also appreciate that there was a professional management company that answered all of our questions pre-stay on a timely basis. The management company (SB Vacation Rentals) had sent us a phone number for any maintenance issues that came up during our stay. We had one small issue when we arrived. Someone was there within 30 minutes (late in the day on a Friday) to resolve the problem! We were really impressed by this service. We would rent here again in a heartbeat. Thank you very much for an incredible vacation house.

Adorable home in a nice, quiet neighborhood which was a short walk to the beach and BoatBoathouse restaurant and a ten minute drive to State Street. We chose this house because it's dog friendly and wanted to bring our dogs for our son's UCSB Parents weekend. Kitchen was well stocked. Host left us a bottle of rose and a bag of coffee which we really appreciated upon arrival after traveling. Enjoyed sitting in the sun on the deck for morning coffee and using the hot tub. Would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was within walking distance to beach. Easy to get to freeway and close to Santa Barbara. House was set up nicely and was comfortable for the 6 of us!

We loved our stay. The home was bright, well designed and clean. We stayed with three boys and they enjoyed the jacuzzi daily. The outdoor shower was a nice addition. Easy walk to Hendry's and super peaceful mornings and evenings on the back patio. Thanks for a great stay!

Great couple of days at this amazing location in walking distance of the beach. Beautiful design, great backyard with hot tub, comfortable beds. Easy access to all SB spots - we covered Montecito to IV and it’s ideally located.

Such a great location in Santa Barbara. Walk to beach and easy drive or ride share ride to shopping and harbor. We were thrilled to stay in this beautiful home.

My family stayed for 4 nights and the house worked well for us. We were very busy with activities during our stay but would come home and relax in backyard, jump in the jacuzzi and just enjoy family time. We loved walking down to the boathouse for dinner. We would definitely rent again.

Beautiful rental! Everything was just as pictured. Home was clean & peaceful. Towels/linens were new, beds comfortable. The entire home was tastefully decorated, paying attention to all the details without going overboard. The backyard is such a special space for meals & the hot tub seemed brand new! My husband & I stayed here with our 2 college students-there was plenty of space & within such a short distance from our favorite Hendry’s Beach Boathouse-what a dream! We would highly recommend & look forward to returning!

This is a beautiful and immaculate home within easy walking distance of a beautiful rocky beach. The hot tub was pristine. The kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the dogs cavort! It was an expensive splurge for us, but worth it. A great place for a girlfriends’ getaway!

First and foremost the aesthetics of the home creates this relaxing environment that compliments that quiet corner of Mesa that you enter prior to arrival. Every little thing you may think of for using the hot tub, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms was abundant and easily available. The floor plan allows the main guests to stay slightly secluded from the rest of the guests and for anyone who might want to stay up and watch tv without interrupting the rest of the family. The surrounding area is perfect for dog owners! We were able to walk to 3 different spaces for the dogs, and 2 offer off-leash options. Not to mention our dogs loved the perfect grass area off of the porch. The house itself offers a perfect outdoor shower for you (or your dogs if you don't choose to use the dog baths at the beach) with views of the mountains! Overall we had an amazing experience here, only being 10 minutes from downtown and a 6 min drive to the main beach walk.

Loved every minute. Really wonderful spot, walking distance to beach & great trails. Home & backyard are beautiful and very nicely appointed. Hot tub under the stars each night was perfect. Heater is loud & water pressure in front bedroom bathroom is low, ended up using outdoor shower which was lovely.

This place is just beautiful! It is SO close to the beach, which is nice for morning and evenings, it's the perfect place to watch sunset! Plenty of towels, and provided beach towels, which is so kind. The bedrooms were well laid out and we all found it easy to be there. Plenty of room for five women to stay! We didn't really cook, but the kitchen was well appointed for a vacation rental. They had a welcome bottle of wine and ground coffee already there, which is SO appreciated. It's about a 10 min drive to the heart of downtown, and the restaurant on the beach (Hendry's) is the only one walkable. It was a delightful stay for a UCSB reunion 🙂 would return

The house is clean and well equipped with everything guests would need--soft towels, gourmet kitchen, extra bedding, and luggage racks. We loved the easy one-block walk to a beautiful dog-friendly beach with a cute restaurant and nearby hiking trails. The neighborhood is very quiet and nestled in wooded hills. Plus, it is only 10 to 15 minutes from all the attractions and restaurants in downtown Santa Barbara! We'd definitely stay there again.

The house was very clean and comfortable, and looks newly renovated. Wonderful location, walking distance to beautiful nature areas like the Douglas Preserve, Arroyo Burro Open Space, the beach and Elings Park. Super quick drive to stores on the Mesa or downtown restaurants. It was a chilly weekend, but the heat worked well and quickly (though maybe a little loud), and the hot tub was great (and very hot, even though the the thermometer read only 99 degrees). We didn't cook much, but the kitchen was well equipped, the coffee maker worked well, and there were even cute Yeti wine tumblers to use for walks to the beach.

Throughout our stay, my family felt right at home and fully enjoyed the cozy living space and many amenities included in the listing. Check in was a breeze and the property was located in a perfect area that’s close to everything in Barb. All rooms in the home were very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with glassware, pots, cutlery, etc. The outdoor area is fully enclosed, which is something I greatly appreciated with a small dog. The host was very kind and responsive to our inquiries and kindly had everything available in the home to enjoy our stay. Overall, my family really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this listing to anyone that’s interested. We cannot wait to stay again sometime again in the future!

We had a nice stay. The house is in a great location next to several parks and a beach. The house has been recently renovated and the yard is nicely set-up.

Good place overall for a nice weekend getaway. 5 minute walk from the beach where you can watch the sunset. All the amenities and pictures are accurate.
