Mesa Beach Escape

Place was gorgeous! Felt like home, met all of our needs and the host was very accommodating, very professional and responsive

We did a girl's weekend here. The house is nice. Backyard is really nice. Walkable to the beach and a restaurant, but 10 minute drive to downtown. We had a hot water issue, but it was managed very quickly.

Would highly recommend staying here. The location is great a short walk to the beach and only a 12 min. drive into town. The house was so lovely you felt bad leaving. It has everything you need and was super comfortable.

This was really a wonderful place! The house was perfect, the beds were all really comfortable, and the backyard was really nice! The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The best part was definitely being minutes away (walking) from the beach! There is construction in the house next door, but they don’t start before 8am and they finish by 5 pm so it never disturbed us. We would most definitely stay here again!

The home has lovely decor and in a great quiet location. Convenient to downtown yet far enough away to be in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood which we appreciated. The kitchen has everything you need to make it a home away from home but there's so many terrific places to go. I appreciated the bag of local coffee and wine, nice touch. The property management company was very responsive to issues raised.

We loved the house, yard, and location. The kitchen is well stocked but would add baking sheet. The beds are very comfortable. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The property manager responded quickly when we had an issue w the fridge.

Loved this beach home - super clean and cozy, in such a great, lush neighborhood. Several fantastic trails right off the street! Walking distance to Hendry’s Beach and the Boathouse. Wonderful bedding, beds and coastal decor. The hosts were so responsive and friendly, and everything there was like pushing the ‘easy’ button - so relaxing and fun.

We had a wonderful stay at the house! The backyard was the perfect place to hang out.

We were so happy when we saw our favorite place became available again! Cannot wait to stay here again. Absolutely perfect location and layout. The yard is wonderful and the outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach is well thought out. Can't recommend this place enough!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully furnished, both inside and out. The beds were super comfy, and the kitchen had all the essentials. As with all the Santa Barbara Vacation Rentals we’ve stayed in, the linens were clean, high-quality white sheets and towels — something we truly appreciate. Thank you! Adorable home in a nice, quiet neighborhood which was a short walk to the beach and BoatBoathouse restaurant and a ten minute drive to State Street. We chose this house because it's dog friendly and wanted to bring our dogs for our son's UCSB Parents weekend. Kitchen was well stocked. Host left us a bottle of rose and a bag of coffee which we really appreciated upon arrival after traveling. Enjoyed sitting in the sun on the deck for morning coffee and using the hot tub. Would definitely come back.

We loved our stay. The home was bright, well designed and clean. We stayed with three boys and they enjoyed the jacuzzi daily. The outdoor shower was a nice addition. Easy walk to Hendry's and super peaceful mornings and evenings on the back patio. Thanks for a great stay!

Great couple of days at this amazing location in walking distance of the beach. Beautiful design, great backyard with hot tub, comfortable beds. Easy access to all SB spots - we covered Montecito to IV and it’s ideally located. It is on the smaller side, ideally 4-5 is the max but we filled it with 6 people and still did fine. My one request - better pillows please! Otherwise, amazing stay. Thank you!

Such a great location in Santa Barbara. Walk to beach and easy drive to shopping and harbor. We were thrilled to stay in this beautiful home.

My family stayed for 4 nights and the house worked well for us. We were very busy with activities during our stay but would come home and relax in backyard, jump in the jacuzzi and just enjoy famiy time. We loved walking down to the boathouse for dinner. We would definitely rent again.

The aesthetic of this home as SO CUTE and so homey. The beac is perfect walking distance as well!

The house was very clean and comfortable, and looks newly renovated. Wonderful location, walking distance to beautiful nature areas like the Douglas Preserve, Arroyo Burro Open Space, the beach and Elings Park. Super quick drive to stores on the Mesa or downtown restaurants. It was a chilly weekend, but the heat worked well and quickly, and the hot tub was great and very hot. We didn't cook much, but the kitchen was well-equipped, the coffee maker worked well, and there were even cute Yeti wine tumblers to use for walks to the beach.

Staying at Mesa Beach Escape was like staying at a yoga retreat. The home is serene, peaceful, and calm. I felt my shoulders relax the minute I walked through the door into the zen-like interior. It's a cozy home, but with 4 bedrooms, a living space, dining room, kitchen, and a spacious garden, there is plenty of room. The back garden is an oasis, bordered with olive trees and featuring a deck that’s perfect for yoga or lounging, and a hot tub to further relax you. Location is ideal, less than a 5 minute walk to Hendry’s Beach and a short drive to downtown, if you ever want to leave the property. I will definitely book Mesa Beach Escape again, and I’m already looking forward to it.

I had the pleasure of staying at this exquisite home recently with three friends and we had an amazing time. The house is a short walk to the beach, where we had dinner at sunset overlooking the waves - with dolphins! In the other direction, about a two minute walk, are two different wild areas to run or hike, with views of the coast. The house itself is elegantyl appointed, with calming tones and everything we needed for a relaxing time. The hot tub was a treat, and we enjoyed eating outdoors on the veranda. We can't wait to come back to this oasis in Santa Barbara!

We stayed at Mesa Beach Escape for a long weekend, and I wish I could've stayed for longer. The place is beautifully appointed, with everything you need plus has such a relaxing vibe. The outdoor space is lovely, and the hot tub was a fantastic extra. And the location cannot be beat. It's walking distance to the beach and multiple hiking trails. We will definitely be back! 5/5 stars all around!
