GUIDE TO SANTA BARBARA’S OLD SPANISH DAYS FIESTA
Heralded as one of Santa Barbara’s most beloved traditions, Old Spanish Days is returning for its 100th year! Dedicated to honoring and preserving the city’s history, culture, and traditions, the festival features authentic music and dance, mercados, delicious food and drink, and much more. La Fiesta Pequeña
July 31
Opening up the week’s festivities, the “little fiesta” is a vibrant, historical program held on the steps of the Old Mission. Enjoy traditional songs and dance from Californios Spirit. Learn More.
Courthouse Fiesta Tours

Recurring daily throughout the week’s festivities, the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse will offer free tours of the grounds. Learn More.
El Mercado De La Guerra
July 31 – August 3
Peruse through collections of crafts and souvenirs at this vibrant Mexican market! Taking place all day from 10am – 10pm, enjoy Spanish and Mexican-American foods, live music and entertainment, and handcrafted goods. Learn More.
DIGS!
August 1
Located at the Santa Barbara Zoo’s iconic hilltop is DIGS!, an event complete with margaritas, dancing, and stunning sunsets. Tickets include unlimited food and drink from local restaurants and access to live music. Learn More.
Noches de Ronda
August 1 -3
Set in the famous Sunken Gardens of the Santa Barbara Courthouse, experience over 200 performers’ fantastic performances of songs and dances like the flamenco and Mexican folklórico. Learn More.
El Desfile Histórico: The Historic Parade
August 2, 12pm – 2pm
One of the nation’s largest equestrian parades, featuring over 600 horses, The Fiesta Historical Parade tells the unique history of Santa Barbara through floats depicting historic scenes. This event is one of the most popular of the week, and stretches across Cabrillo Boulevard. Learn More.

Fiesta Stock Horse Show & Rodeo
